A wonderful time was had by all as we traveled to Essex Junction, Vermont, for the 2019 Vermont Quilt Festival. The quilts at the festival were stunning.

 

After the show we visited Yankee Pride Quilt Shop in downtown Essex Jct., followed by a visit to Northeast Fiber Arts Studio whereupon we were treated to a demonstration in Indigo dyeing. We were all in awe of the process and the finished product. After our very busy day we enjoyed a relaxing evening at our hotel.

 

On Sunday morning we were on our way bright and early as we ventured to Simon Pearce in Quechee, Vermont. We observed and were amazed by the magical art of glass blowing and enjoyed shopping the beautiful glass pieces. Then we ventured down the street to Quechee Village to shop all the fun, unique shops. Our last stop was in Richmond, New Hampshire, at Pickering Farms Quilt Shop; a very quaint shop with a primitive atmosphere that all our travelers thoroughly enjoyed.  

 

Our faithful driver Carlos, as always, did a wonderful job of getting us where we needed to be when we needed to be there.
